1.1.1 Product Introduction

Chinese Magnoliavine, magnoliaceae, is deciduous woody vine, with single, alternate leaf. Its flowers is unisexual, axillary, with slender pedicels and white petals. Its stems and leaves feature a fragrant smell. Its berries are spherical, with sweet and sour tastes. There are about 18 species in China. Schisandra chinensis, which is produced in northern China, has white or reddish flowers and dark red fruits. Chinese Magnoliavine economic forest is a tree species that realizes the organic combination of forest ecological benefits, economic benefits and social benefits. The Chinese Magnoliavine economic forest has played an important role that can not be replaced by other planting industries in promoting the development of new rural economy and improving the ecological environment because of its high economic returns and suitability for agricultural and forestry users.

The project plans to use the planting resources of Chinese Magnoliavine in Jilin City to build a production base with an annual output of 150 million Chinese Magnoliavine soft capsules.

1.1.2 Market Analysis

(1) Analysis of the needs of Chinese Magnoliavine in recent years

Chinese Magnoliavine, a forest berry plant, is always needed by domestic and international markets. However, its wild resources is scarce and cultivation history is short, which has seriously restricted the development of this industry. For example, due to factors such as cultivation by forest clearing and artificially harvesting with intemperance, the annual output of dried products from wild resources decreased from 1.5-2 million kg to the current 50,0000-70,0000kg, while the annual demand of domestic and international Chinese herbal medicine markets, pharmaceutical companies and brewing processing enterprises has increased from the previous 1-1.5 million kg to the current 3-3.5 million kg. The three northeastern provinces need 1.6 million kg per year, the pure purchase volume is less than 120,000 kg, and South Korea imports 250,000kg a year. In recent years, Chinese Magnoliavine products have been favored in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Europe and other countries and regions, and their product prices have been rising. With the deep development of Chinese Magnoliavine products, the deep processing series products of Chinese Magnoliavine beverages and wines are in short supply for their health care functions of benefiting vital energy and promoting the production of fluid of the body, arresting persistent cough and nourishing the kidney

Planting Chinese Magnoliavine generally produces 170-230kg of dried fruit per mu. Calculated according to RMB 50 for every kilogram of fresh Chinese Magnoliavine (this year is RMB 120), the benefit per mu should be between RMB 6500 and 11,500. The economic income is expected to reach 15-20 years, which is 6-10 times that of growing food crops. At present, the Chinese Magnoliavine market has been warming up and the price is on the rise. With the feedback from farmers, about 4,000 strains of Schisandra chinensis in 5 acres of land planted in 2017, the output of dried fruit is 400 kilograms, and the price per kilogram is more than RMB 160. The economic benefits are considerable.
